While employed at Medical Mutual of Ohio, I served as director of staff model HMOs, then director of quality and corporate-wide NCQA accreditation, where I authored, directed, and reviewed numerous materials, reports, and analyses.
As an orthopedic surgical nurse at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, I published articles on the specialty of musculoskeletal oncology and orthopedic nursing and developed patient education brochures for patients undergoing surgery.
I gained the competencies of writing accurately, timely, and with attention to detail while interpreting and adhering to complex NCQA standards and regulations. Now, as a Nurse
Writer, I draw on my background to produce health content that reflects the vision, brand, and specifications of your organization.
When I am not at my home office in Houston, Texas, you will find me hiking the trails, cycling the Bayous, reading a fascinating book, or spending time with family and friends.
